Our bodies respond to light in fascinating ways. Photobiomodulation (PBM) uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light that have been studied for their effects on cellular activity and biological signaling. What is red light therapy? It is a noninvasive wellness approach that uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissues in the body.

Our system combines five wavelengths — 630 nm, 660 nm, 810 nm, 830 nm, and 850 nm — bringing together visible red light and near-infrared light in one full-body wellness experience. These wavelengths allow us to explore the potential red light therapy benefits and the role of near-infrared light in supporting wellness.

Research suggests that red and near-infrared photobiomodulation may:

✔️ Support the body’s natural pain-relief processes

✔️ Help modulate inflammation

✔️ Support cellular energy production

✔️ Support healthy circulation

✔️ Support muscle recovery and physical recovery

✔️ Promote tissue repair processes

✔️ Influence immune and inflammatory signaling

✔️ Support overall cellular function and well-being

The research surrounding photobiomodulation continues to expand. Clinical studies have found benefits for certain types of pain and other health outcomes, while laboratory and clinical research suggests that PBM can influence immune cells and inflammatory pathways. Results vary depending on the wavelength, intensity, treatment time, and area of the body being exposed.

Supporting Your Body’s Natural Processes

Rather than introducing a substance into the body, Red & Near Infrared Light uses specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and influence cellular signaling. The effects depend on the device, treatment settings, and individual circumstances.

People exploring red and near infrared light therapy may be interested in supporting recovery, managing certain types of discomfort, or adding a relaxing experience to their wellness routine. Research into nir light therapy continues to investigate how near-infrared wavelengths may affect deeper tissues and cellular processes.

The potential red light therapy benefits are an area of ongoing research, and outcomes are not the same for everyone. Light-based wellness sessions should be selected with realistic expectations and appropriate professional guidance.

And because wellness is not only about addressing problems, a session can also be a valuable opportunity to slow down, relax, and give your body time to recover.

At Your Life Regained, we combine red and near-infrared light with our other wellness modalities to create a restorative experience designed around the whole person. Our approach to red light therapy benefits focuses on exploring available wellness options while recognizing that individual responses can vary.

Red and near-infrared light sessions are provided for general wellness and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or to replace appropriate medical care.
