A large body of research suggests that daily consumption of supplementation with omega-3-fatty acids can largely decrease your risk to suffer and even die of cardiac conditions.

US researchers found that air pollution seems to be a serious contributor for heart disease and strokes particularly in older women.

A study conducted on mice suggests that antioxidants (as found in fruits, vegetables and legumes) are not only crucial in increasing a mouses life expectancy, but also adding years to a human’s life. Heart disease, cataract development, and other signs of age-related damage were delayed or reduced, the researchers report in Science Express, the advanced online edition of Science.
